Successful Candidate has to fill his/her Roll Number along with Date of Birth, then has to choose his/her preference for posting, there are in total 17 factories given for the selection to be made from, from which one has to select accordingly (as per your preference). Number of factories may vary as per the trade and necessity or availability of Jobs.
For the 10th point candidate has to select the region of his/her choice.

After the confirming and accepting the preference made, candidate will receive an Acknowledgement, which he/she has to take it with them for all future correspondence as it is needed while finalizing the checking with original documents, medical, which applicable and whenever a candidate is been called up for,

This choice is subject to verification of documents such as qualification, age, category etc and eligibility of candidate. Indication/recording of choices does not guarantee the appointment in the units of their choice. Ordnance Factory Board/ Appointing Authority has the discretion of posting the selected candidates to any of the Ordnance Factory Units as per the functional requirement.
The above process of choice filling through ‘on-line counseling process’ does not guarantee any appointment. The appointment shall be subject to verification of original documents, availability of discipline-wise and category-wise vacancies, Medical and Police Verification Reports of eligible candidates.
